Presenter: Terri Lynn Major-Kincade, MD, MPH, FAAP – Dr. Major-Kincade is a board-certified Pediatrician and Neonatologist with over 20 years of clinical, consulting, and community education experience. As a best-selling author and health disparity specialist, she complements her passion for national medical equity with an encompassing background in health advocacy. She established the Neonatal Palliative Care Team for Texas health Presbyterian Dallas and Texas Health Presbyterian Plano Hospitals. She also developed Neonatal Palliative Care Protocol utilized in Newborn, Level 2 and Level 3 Nurseries.
Her deep awareness of issues regarding marginalized populations and a strong personal appeal have led to Dr. Terri being a highly sought-after speaker and leader. Exploring a wide range of topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Dr. Terri’s message is designed to challenge, inform, and set a standard for engaging with others in and outside health care. As a neonatologist and soon-to-be perinatal palliative care fellow, Dr. Terri is a best-selling author of Early Arrival: 9 Things Parents Need to Know About Life in the ICU Nursery A Doctor’s Step-by-Step Guide.
